How a folding case is built

About this print

Python skin has a specular sheen that most prints fake with a gloss varnish. Here it is drawn in — each scale carries its own highlight — so the effect survives on a matte shell, where a varnish would just look wet.

Drawn for the iPhone Duo and laid out per half, so the hinge is part of the composition rather than something the pattern has to survive.
