How a folding case is built

About this print

A giraffe pattern is a tessellation: the patches fit together and the gaps between them are a continuous network. Getting the network right is the whole job. Drawn at half life size so roughly nine patches cross a half.

Drawn for the iPhone Duo and laid out per half, so the hinge is part of the composition rather than something the pattern has to survive.
