How a folding case is built

About this print

Built the way a seventeenth-century still life is built — a black ground, a single light source, and most of the arrangement left in shadow. Only two blooms are fully lit. The rest you find later, which is the point of a dark floral.

Drawn for the iPhone Duo and laid out per half, so the hinge is part of the composition rather than something the pattern has to survive.
