How a folding case is built

About this print

A camellia is almost geometric — the petals spiral on a fixed count, which is why it has been a house flower for a century. One bloom, centred on the upper half, positioned so the hinge never runs through the middle of it.

Drawn for the iPhone Duo and laid out per half, so the hinge is part of the composition rather than something the pattern has to survive.
