How a folding case is built

About this print

Estate checks were drawn for horse blankets, which is why the line weights are so unequal — one heavy, two fine. Scaled up here until a single square is about a fingernail, because a fine check on a small surface turns to grey.

Drawn for the iPhone Duo and laid out per half, so the hinge is part of the composition rather than something the pattern has to survive.
