How a folding case is built

About this print

Houndstooth has one failure mode: shrink it and it becomes a grey texture. This is drawn large — about eight teeth across the width — so the broken check still reads as a shape. The black and ivory pairing is the original.

Drawn for the iPhone Duo and laid out per half, so the hinge is part of the composition rather than something the pattern has to survive.
