How a folding case is built

About this print

Deck-chair canvas is woven in wide bands with an uneven count, so the sequence never quite repeats where you expect. Run vertically here, which makes the phone look narrower and keeps the stripes parallel to the hinge.

Drawn for the iPhone Duo and laid out per half, so the hinge is part of the composition rather than something the pattern has to survive.
