How a folding case is built

About this print

Shop awnings use equal-width bands because they are sewn from two bolts of cloth. That equality is what makes the pattern look built rather than designed. Cut square at the lower edge so the stripe ends rather than fades.

Drawn for the iPhone Duo and laid out per half, so the hinge is part of the composition rather than something the pattern has to survive.
